Brutal Planet Records has announced remastered reissues of two key releases from Six Feet Under: Unburied and Bringer of Blood, both arriving in limited CD and vinyl editions.
Unburied—long considered one of the band’s rarest entries—receives its first proper physical release. Originally issued digitally in 2018 with only a handful of low-quality promo CDs circulating, the album collects nine previously unreleased tracks recorded during the Undead, Unborn, and Torment sessions. The material captures Six Feet Under in a raw, early state, described by Chris Barnes as “real raw and in their earliest form.”
The album is now available on jewel case CD with a 12-page lyric booklet and has been fully remastered by Rob Colwell. A vinyl edition follows on February 15, 2026, marking the first worldwide retail vinyl release of Unburied. The LP is pressed on opaque turquoise vinyl, housed in a traditional jacket with a 12×12 lyric insert, and limited to 500 copies.
Brutal Planet Records has also announced a new vinyl edition of Bringer of Blood, originally released in 2003 and recorded at Morrisound Studios in Tampa, Florida. While the album previously saw a small German vinyl pressing, this marks its first-ever U.S. vinyl release. The record has been remastered for vinyl by Rob Colwell and will be pressed on blood red vinyl, also limited to 500 copies worldwide.
Known for its groove-heavy aggression and grisly atmosphere, Bringer of Blood includes tracks such as “Amerika the Brutal,” “One Shot One Kill,” and the title track. The new edition includes a full-color 12×12 insert with lyrics and band photos.
Both releases are officially licensed from Metal Blade Records and are part of Brutal Planet Records’ Metal Icon Series, which focuses on high-quality remastering and collector-grade physical editions.
