Black Label Society have announced a new studio album, Engines Of Demolition, set for release on March 27 via MNRK Heavy. The record follows 2021’s Doom Crew Inc. and features 15 tracks, including the previously released singles “Broken And Blind,” “The Gallows,” and “Lord Humungus.”
Among the new material is a track titled “Ozzy’s Song,” which appears to be a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, longtime collaborator and bandmate of Black Label Society frontman Zakk Wylde.

Wylde formed Black Label Society in 1998, maintaining the band alongside decades of work with Osbourne, whose backing group he first joined in 1987. Over the years, Black Label Society have remained a steady presence in modern heavy metal, with albums like Order Of The Black (2010) and Catacombs Of The Black Vatican (2014) breaking into the Top Five of the hard rock album charts.
Wylde played on nearly all of Osbourne’s solo albums, including No More Tears (1991), Ozzmosis (1995), and Black Rain (2007), remaining closely tied to the singer until Osbourne’s death in July 2025. While Engines Of Demolition is not positioned as a memorial release, the inclusion of “Ozzy’s Song” places that lifelong creative bond firmly within the album’s arc.
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY lineup:
- Zakk Wylde – vocals, guitar, piano
- John “JD” DeServio – bass
- Jeff Fabb – drums
- Dario Lorina – guitar
